You know that with every bite of noodles, and every sip of broth, you are getting a truly authentic and unparalleled experience.

The broth at this restaurant is based on Japanese pork and blended directly with various other broths made from seafood.

One of the most popular broths on the Yakiago menu is the ‘Flying Fish’ broth, which has a unique flavor profile and is an incredible delight to the senses.

You should also try out the Yakiago Shio Ramen, as it is totally delectable.

The noodles themselves are all entirely handmade and have a slightly imperfect shape that helps to exaggerate this. The noodles are soft but firm, and will easily take on the flavors of the broth.

Ramen Manrai(らあめん 満来)

Menya Sho (麺屋翔)

The ramen on offer at this ramen restaurant in Shinjuku has become renowned for its incredibly meaty taste. The Chashu Ramen is one of the most popular menu items because of how intensely rich it is in terms of its flavor profile.

This particular item costs quite a hefty amount, especially when compared to some menu items from other restaurants we’ve discussed, but it is packed to the brim with noodles, toppings, and broth that will easily satisfy.

Included amongst the toppings are large chunks of meat that are totally awesome to bite into. Every bite seems to release a whole new set of flavors that fill your mouth with satisfaction.

The noodles themselves are also perfectly cooked and handmade, so they have a great sense of bite to them, and they will carry the awesome taste of the broth right to your mouth.

Ramen Housenka(らぁ麺 鳳仙花)

This is actually one of the newest restaurants on this list, having only opened in July 2018! The menu here is made up of delightful seafood flavors that are sure to go down a treat.

Our absolute favorite item on the menu is the sea bream salt-based ramen. The reason we loved it so much is that it tasted totally unlike anything we had ever experienced before.

The broth itself was very savory, which made it perfect for both lunch and dinner, or simply whenever the craving for something rich and tasty came over us.

We had to visit this restaurant multiple times because it was simply that good.

The thinly sliced meat atop the ramen also works perfectly with the thin and soft noodles that are totally tender, and seem to melt away in your mouth, releasing all the complex flavors across your tongue.

Make sure to pay this restaurant a visit if you want great ramen in Shinjuku Station.
