The location was convenient, with numerous parking spots nearby, making it accessible not only for those who drive but also for those who prefer public transportation. They even had a chocolate tower dessert, a sure hit for kids and kids-at-heart.

However, my experience was not without some minor criticisms. The separation of halal and non-halal dishes was not clear, which might be confusing for some patrons. Some of the dishes, like the curry, could use some improvement in terms of taste and texture. I also noticed a considerable number of chicken dishes. While they were delicious, the lack of variation may lead to some customers tiring of the selection quickly.

This international cuisine buffet’s culinary repertoire doesn’t exceed the family restaurant level, yet the scenic vistas and lively atmosphere make it something special. In its prime location, the affordability stood out to me, a pleasant surprise against the somewhat limited, albeit varied, assortment of dishes spanning Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines.

I admired the staff’s helpfulness and the efficiency of the reception and waitstaff, who went above and beyond to provide an enjoyable dining experience. The dessert section left me yearning for a bit more variety, though. Basking in the sun on the terrace seating, I found the ocean view simply unbeatable.

One notable aspect was that the buffet, while not extensive, was composed of unique dishes not commonly found elsewhere, each offering a burst of flavors that left a lasting impression. Coupled with the reasonable prices and stunning views, it quickly became a favorite spot of mine. Moreover, the midweek quietness added to its charm.

The politeness and courtesy of the staff were yet another highlights of my visit, contributing to a delightful dining experience. However, I noted some areas for improvement – the understaffing issue was evident as numerous tables remained unattended, and the drink bar needed more frequent cleaning. It wasn’t overly spicy, making it a great choice even for those who aren’t fans of spicy food.

The buffet also caters to dietary restrictions, making it an excellent choice for a halal buffet in Tokyo. The staff’s service was not only efficient but also warm and welcoming, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Beyond the food, the setting of NIRVANA New York added to the overall experience. With its spacious terrace seating area, you can enjoy your meal while taking in the view of Roppongi Midtown’s park, truly an urban oasis. The interior, reminiscent of New York’s cosmopolitan style, exudes a relaxed sophistication.

While the buffet is slightly pricier than average, the value for money is unquestionable. The quality of the food, the variety of dishes, and the overall atmosphere justify the price. The honey garlic curry was so delightful; I found myself going back for thirds!

However, my visit was not without some minor hitches. The chairs were rather worn out and stained, which was a bit off-putting, considering it’s supposed to be a high-end Indian restaurant. I also noticed a considerable delay in serving naan, which was slightly disappointing.

Additionally, due to the current health crisis, the buffet system has changed to an order-based service. While this ensures better hygiene, it does take more time for the dishes to be brought to the table (as of May 2023, you can pick up your own food again).

From a large bone-in ham freshly sliced upon order to French toast prepared right after being ordered, the experience was remarkable. The buffet offered an array of Western dishes with a dash of Japanese flair in the form of rice, miso soup, pickles, and even a bit of curry. The assortment of bread – baguettes, Danish, croissants, muffins – was splendid, and the presence of a toaster to warm them up added a nice touch.

As a regular patron of various hotel buffets, I must commend the exceptional customer service at The French Kitchen. The service went above and beyond the usual buffet experience, sparking curiosity about the level of service provided at the hotel itself. The taste, of course, was top-notch.

While the overall experience was remarkable, there were a few shortcomings. The service, though generally excellent, had inconsistencies, with some staff displaying poor attitudes and a few instances of unpleasant experiences, such as yelling from the kitchen. I found the best experience was during less busy weekdays when the staff could provide more personalized service. Although the variety was somewhat limited, I managed to sample every dish. The Italian theme of the buffet could have been more pronounced. Despite this, every dish was nothing short of delicious. I was a little disappointed to find that the only made-to-order dish was an omelet.

The freshly baked bread and assortment of grilled vegetables, particularly the variety of sweet potatoes, were a delight to my palate. Even the dressings, oils, and kinds of vinegar offered were plentiful enough to allow me to play around with my food. All the dishes were superb, although I felt the lack of chocolate-based desserts. Regardless, I left feeling satiated and content, thanks to the generous portions and delicious cuisine.

The exceptional service matched the quality of the food. The staff not only provided attentive service but also offered helpful advice on the best ways to enjoy the dishes. Their diligence and warm demeanor added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. I left the Prince Marche, one of the best hotel buffets in Tokyo, full and satisfied, looking forward to my next visit to enjoy their unrivaled hospitality and superb food once more.

Having arrived earlier than our reserved time at Marble Lounge, the buffet in Hilton Shinjuku,, the staff was extremely accommodating and led us to our table, which was a good 30 minutes before our booking time. The dishes were delectable, perfectly embodying why this spot is considered the best buffet in Tokyo.

It was evident the staff were seasoned hotel professionals; their demeanor was courteous, and they offered exceptional service. The meal itself was an unforgettable experience; each dish was delicious, and there was an overwhelming array of choices. It was impossible to sample everything. The unique presentation of some dishes was intriguing, almost as though I was seeing a certain type of dish for the first time.

Sweets and desserts at the buffet were an absolute delight. The novelty of having ice cream mixed according to personal preference was an added pleasure, something I hadn’t experienced elsewhere. The staff’s warm and welcoming smiles were the cherry on top of an already exquisite buffet experience. I can’t wait to revisit it.

The thoughtful consideration of complimentary parking for three and a half hours and the inclusion of vegan options led me to choose the Marble Lounge. The buffet was easily accessible, and the dishes were as satisfying as I had anticipated. The only catch was the slightly stepped floor, which demanded careful navigation.

Their sweet treats were creatively made to be not overly sweet, a detail I appreciated immensely. It was apparent that a lot of experimentation went into ensuring a wide variety of unique offerings. The professional chefs, especially the men, went the extra mile to assist, even reaching items placed high for my children, making our experience all the more enjoyable.

The exquisite meat dishes such as the steak, Yakiniku Shabu, roast beef, and beef stew are particularly memorable, each a testament to its claim as the best hotel buffet in Tokyo.

The dessert selection at this buffet was exceptional. Amongst the array of offerings, Pierre Hermé’s macarons and the super series ice creams were particularly outstanding. They were so tempting that even my partner, who usually refrains from sweets, found himself devouring various treats.

Sushi and tempura were part of the all-you-can-eat menu, making “View & Dining The Sky” an indulgent paradise for food lovers. The super shortcake from SATSUKI was another highlight, adding to the diverse spread of delicacies. A request to the bartender for a lemon sour to pair with the meat dishes was graciously obliged, and the off-menu concoction was divine.

The pricing, albeit on the higher side, seemed justified considering the level of service and the high-quality food. The offering of excellent Western and Japanese dishes, the sublime Pierre Hermé macarons, the super shortcake series, the steak, and Yakiniku Shabu affirmed the place’s status as the best buffet in Tokyo.

The buffet at “View & Dining The Sky” stands out distinctly amongst the multitudes of buffets I’ve experienced. It provides an experience that’s worth more than the price tag. The stunning view from the 17th floor of Hotel New Otani offers a 360° panoramic view that enhances the dining experience.

Watching the chefs preparing steak, hamburger, sushi, tempura, and roast beef right before my eyes was a treat in itself. The top-notch service, with its efficient and friendly staff, complemented the excellent food and the stunning view, making the experience at “View & Dining The Sky” truly unforgettable.

The cost performance was outstanding. The staff was amicable, attentive, and efficient in clearing plates at the right time, which ensured the table never got cluttered.

Each dish, meticulously arranged, surpassed what one would expect from a buffet. The meat dishes, such as roast beef, were delectable. However, it was the gelato that I enjoyed post-meal that compelled me to have seconds due to its delightful taste.

The interior resonated with a sense of luxury that contributed to a relaxed ambiance. Every dish was served to us, a service that elevated the experience. Each item, from the seafood grilled on a net, teppanyaki, and sukiyaki, to gelato, held its own in terms of quality, not overshadowed by the main star – roast beef.
